Treatment - Raghu and Raju -3

One day middle aged constable Chamnlal brings a newspaper to Brinda and shows her a matrimonial advertisement . The ad says - Groom needed for a rich but mentally unstable girl. Groom will get 5 crores of her inheritance upon marriage.

Brinda becomes suspicious. She sends Chamnlal as one of the candidate to girl’s father at given address.

At girl’s place there was a long queue outside the room. Inside Raghu and Raju were there. Raghu was in girl’s clothes and gaudy make-up. He was acting as mentally unstable also. Raju was in get - up of old man acting as girl’s father.

A man comes inside and Raju starts interviewing him.

Raju – Please sit down. I am Khaprail Mal. And she is my beautiful daughter - Raghubanti.

Raghu smiles and looks at a picture constantly like mad.

Raju – So what do you do?

Man –I own a small company of Gutka.

Raju - Good. Which brand?

Man - Bhainsa chhaap.

Raju – Alright. You can apply.

Man – Apply?

Raju – Take this form and fill. You have to deposit Rs 10,000 also.

Man - 10 K? But you took my interview.

Raju – That was for screening. You have been selected. Now you will come for final round. Don’t you want 5 crores!

Man – Oh, O.K.

The man fills the form and gives Raju 10 K.

Just then constable Chamnlal in civil dress comes inside. He becomes suspicious during interview. He goes and tells Brinda. When she comes to arrest Raghu and Raju, they had already fled.

After some time Raghu and Raju plan to sell a special health Insurance golden card.

Raghu in the get up of salesman goes to a man and tells about the card.

Raghu – Just pay 50K and take the card. After that go to any doctor and get any treatment, you will not be charged any money.

Man – Any doctor?

Raghu – Any.

Man – No panel?

Raghu – No. That’s the speciality of this card.

Man – But how can I believe you?

Raghu – O.K. I will give you this dummy card. Go to any doctor. Show this card and doctor will not charge you any fee. Go and test. I will wait here. But do it fast. This is the last card.

Raghu gives dummy card to the man. The man looks here and there. He sees a clinic across the road – Malhotra Clinic.

The man goes inside. Raju was sitting in get-up of doctor. The man consults him for his blood pressure. After some time the man asks Raju for fees.

Raju – Rs. 1000

Man – 1000. Just for talking.

Raju – Yes.

Man – OK. Well I have this card.

The man shows Raju the dummy card.

Raju – Oh. Golden card. Why din’t you show me earlier. Let me note the number.

Raju notes the number from the card and gives back the card.

Raju – You can go.

Man – I need not to pay na?

Raju – No sir. You are one wisest person to have purchased this card.

Man – Does it work everywhere?

Raju – Yes. All over india. From small clinic like this to hospitals as big as Apollo.

The man runs back to Raghu. He gives him 50k and buys the Golden card.

One day a girl came to Raghu. She was Nisha.

Nisha – I saw your advertisement of golden card.

Raghu – Oh OK. Please sit down.

Nisha – So what is the maximum coverage with this card?

Raghu –For 50 K you can take upto 15 lakhs.

Nisha – Are pre- existing diseases also covered?

Raghu – Ya that’s the special feature of this card. No insurance company covers the pre-existing diseases.

Nisha – Ya. I know. I want the card.

Nisha gives money to Raghu. Raghu looks infatuated with her. She is so beautiful , simple and decent – he thinks.

Raghu – Where are you basically from?

Nisha – My family is of Rajasthan. But I was brought up in Delhi only.

Raghu becomes more interested on the mention of Rajasthan.

Raghu – You have to give your address …and phone no…. and give me photo also.

Nisha – Why photo?

Raghu – To paste in form.

Nisha –But there is no column.

Raghu –Ya. That by mistake left out. But we do need it.

Nisha gives Raghu photo and then leaves.

After Nisha leaves, Raghu constantly looks at her photo. Obviously he has fallen in love with her at first sight.

Raju - Hey what happened?

Raghu - Nothing.

Raju - Oh man. Don’t tell me you are getting the disease of love. Stay away dude. It’s harmful.

Raghu - Ya. I know.

Raghu keeps on looking at photo of Nisha.

After two days Raghu calls Nisha.

Raghu - There are some documents. Your signs are needed.

Raghu takes her to a café. They have coffee there and talked. Meanwhile upon asking by Raghu what kind of boys she likes, Nisha says – Honest boys.

Raghu asks her if they can become good friends. She accepts the offer. One day Raghu goes to drop Nisha at her house. He sees that her father was suffering from heart disease and needed to be operated. Raghu felt guilt-ridden now.

Raghu was remorseful. He had cheated the girl who he was in love with. He discusses the matter with Raju and tells that he is going to tell her the truth. Raju becomes angry at this. There was hot argument between the two. Raju leaves the house and breaks – up the friendship. Raghu and Raju were not friends any more.

Raghu goes to Nisha to tell the truth. He hoped that she will forgive him and accept him. However Nisha was shocked and heart- broken after listening everything.

Nisha tells him that she has also developed feelings for him. But he broke her trust. She asks him never to meet again and shuts the door on his face.

Raghu was devastated. He had lost his friend as well as girlfriend. He was all alone now. He goes to a bar and drinks. Raju happens to see his friend in this condition. He goes to him and gets to know the whole episode. Raju says he will always be his friend and they patch – up once again.

Next day Raju and Raghu were returning home in the night. In the way they see three boys were trying to rape a lady who was Brinda herself in plain clothes. They beat them and the boys ran away. Raghu and Raju then take the fainted Brinda to hospital. They stay beside her.

In the night Raju tells Raghu that he likes the girl. Raghu says it was right time for him to fall in love.

Next day Brinda talks to them.

Brinda - You are brave. Police force needs such people. Even coward cops don’t do anything sometimes to stop such incidents. There is an opening soon.

Raju - How do you know so much about police stuff?

Just then Chamnlal and Gosain comes and salutes Brinda.

Chamnlal - How are you saheb? We have arrested all the three culprits.

Raghu and Raju looks stunned. After some time both cops leave.

Brinda - So I was saying. Join the police. I want you to help me in arresting two master-mind cons. If I can do so I will be promoted from SI to Inspector.

Raju was in strange dilemma. He was in love with Brinda. But she was a police officer and he was a conman.

He keeps meeting Brinda anyhow on the pretext of training. Brinda has started giving him training. She wanted him to prepare for the forthcoming exam.

While their meetings Brinda also develops feelings for Raju.

One day all of a sudden Nisha’s father was taken to hospital in emergency. Doctor says that she has to deposit 5 lakhs at counter or they won’t operate.

That’s already done - Raghu appears. He shows bill to doctor.

Ok. We will start preparation then - Doctor says and leaves.

Nisha - I can’t take that money.

Raghu - Yes you can.

Nisha -I don’t want any favour from you.

Raghu –Take it as a loan then. You can return me later.

Nisha -That’s dirty money.

Raghu -I am going to confess my sins to police. I am going to jail anyways.

Raghu leaves. Nisha keeps watching Raghu go.

Raju goes to Brinda.

She flirts with him.

Brinda – In very few days we came so close. I love you.

Brinda hugs Raju. But he becomes sad. He tells her that he wishes to confess something.

Raju then tells her the whole story of his life and frauds he and Raghu did. He asks her to arrest him but spare his friend Raghu because he was in love with a girl.

Just then Raghu also comes there and says to Brinda - You have to arrest me also. Only then I can win my love back!

Both Raghu and Raju are sent to one year of jail.

Meanwhile Nisha’s father becomes well again. She occasionally visits Raghu in jail. She had forgiven him.

After one year both Raghu and Raju come out of jail. They apply in Delhi police and get selected as sub-inspectors. Raghu then marries Nisha and Raju his beloved Brinda.

And they live happily thereafter.
