JOEL

Suzie and Joel kiss passionately. They begin new love session.

EXT. DOOR – DAY

Door opens slightly. We see an old woman ROSY -70 and old fashioned. She then opens the door fully. We see Joel and Suzie standing in front of her. Joel grins widely.

JOEL

Mamma this is Suzie. My girlfriend.

SUZIE

Hello.

ROSY

Oh girl.Come..Come.

Rosy hold Suzie’s hand and takes her in. Joel follows them.

INT. DOOR – DAY

Rosy brings Suzie to the living room.

ROSY

Hey, Peter . . Joel has brought

a girl. Look she is so pretty.

PETER, 75 and old comes from kitchen. He is wearing apron and holds kitchen knife.

PETER

Welcome home girl.

Suzie smiles.

PETER

Good job. I like this girl. Earlier

was trash.

ROSY

Peter. . .

Rosy gives a scornful look to Peter. He goes back to kitchen. Suzie is amazed. Joel comes near Suzie and whispers.

JOEL

I was with a girl. But it didn’t work.

SUZIE

Never mind. It will work this time.

Suzie smiles.

INT. DINING ROOM – DAY

Rosy, Peter and Joel are on dining table. They are having dinner.

PETER

After long time you have got a girl home.

What happened to your talents?

JOEL

Why don’t you work your ass. You old hag.

Joel looks a different person. Someone with violent tendencies.

PETER

Watch out your mouth, you moron.

ROSY

Please stop both of you. Enjoy

the dinner.

JOEL

Learn to keep your mouth shut or

one day I will kill and eat you raw.

Joel gets up and storms out of the room.

PETER

We should not have taken this moron

in. Zack would have been better.

ROSY

It was Richard’s decision.

PETER

What is he! The fucking leader?

INT. A HOUSE - LIVING ROOM – DAY

We see a living room. But no one is there.

INT. KITCHEN – DAY

Camera shows us kitchen. No one is here either.

INT. BED ROOM – DAY

We are sneaking in the bedroom. Some voices are heard.

Camera then focuses on a laptop. The source of voice is clear to us. A homemade video is playing on the laptop:

VIDEO ON LAPTOP:

INT. BED ROOM – MORNING

Someone (JIMMY, a 12 years old boy) is holding camera. Through JIMMY’S CAMERA we see DERREK, 60 – Jimmy’s maternal grandfather in his bed leaning on the newspaper.

JIMMY (V.O)

Hey Derrek !!

Derrek turns towards camera and waves his hand. Hey Jimmy the director, what’s up!

JIMMY (V.O)

Fine. Say something. You are on

camera.

Derrek

What!!

Derrek thinks something.

Derrek

Well. Ladies and gentleman. This

is a new beginning in the history of

film and cinema. Now we have a new

director in the making. Please welcome

Jimmy Corel. We now expect block-

busters . .

JIMMY (V.O)

Oh grandpa. This is same you said last

time.

Derrek

What to do? You never give me

a script.. (winks). Ok, now let me read

some news.

Derrek turns on his side and starts reading newspaper again. Camera is now taking us through corridors.

INT. KITCHEN – DAY

We see kitchen through Jimmy’s camera. ALEEN – 35, Jimmy’s mother and divorced is washing dishes.

JIMMY (V.O)

Hey mom! What’s going on?

Aleen

Nothing much. Just washing the

dishes.

JIMMY (V.O)

Wanna say something? You are on

camera.

Aleen looks towards the camera.

ALEEN

Well yes. Kids shouldn’t make movies

all the time. They should do their

homework also. And try to get good

grades. They should play outdoor

games also. Outdoor games are good

for thir health.and..

JIMMY

Ummm..that’s enough I think.

Aleen isn’t able to complete. She gives a stare to Jimmy and again starts washing the dishes. Jimmy’s camera goes towards lawn.

EXT. LAWN – DAY

Camera is moving towards a man. In close up we see it’s Mark. He is stretching. He turns towards camera and waves.

MARK

Hey Jimmy!!

JIMMY (V.O)

Hey Mark! What are you doing

here?

MARK

Am doing aerobics. What are you

doing?

Mark resumes his exercises.

JIMMY (V.O)

Well am making home video.

MARK

You like making videos all the

time. Great hobby.

JIMMY (V.O)

Yes.

MARK

So wana be filmmaker one day.

Hmmm.

JIMMY (V.O)

Well ya. If only mom allows. Hey

where is Daniel?

MARK

Out there. Watering the plants.

JIMMY (V.O)

Can I film the twins together.

MARK

Ya of course. Hey Dan come over

here. Jimmy wants to shoot you.

Mark hops up and down.

EXT. LAWN – DAY, CONT’D

DANIEL – identical twin of Mark, comes in focus. He comes quite close to camera and starts pulling faces.

DANIEL

Hi. Jimmy.

JIMMY (V.O)

Hey stop it. You are on camera.

DANIEL

I know.

Daniel goes little back.

JIMMY (V.O)

I want to shoot both the twin together.

Get close both of you.

DANIEL

Alright.

Mark stops jogging. He throws an arm around Daniel. They both look at camera.

DANIEL AND MARK

Hi there!!

JIMMY (V.O)

Hi. Ok, tell me are you both linked

to each other telepathically.

DANIEL

Yes. Why not?

JIMMY (V.O)

Really!! Please tell me truth only.

DANIEL

That’s true darling.

JIMMY (V.O)

So you get to know what Mark is

thinking when he is abroad in college.

DANIEL

Ya. Why not?

JIMMY (V.O)

Is that true Mark?

Mark is not sure. He smiles and gives a slight nod.

JIMMY (V.O)

Liars.I know that can’t be true.

Both Mark and Daniel laugh.

JIMMY (V.O)

Ok. What about your feelings then.

Are they also identical?

DANIEL

Yes, boy.

JIMMY (V.O)

So when you will fall in love with

a girl Mark will also fall for her.

Daniel laughs. He comes towards Jimmy and lifts him up. Camera goes zig-zag and random images of lawn, house, sky appears as Jimmy is being shaked by Daniel.

DANIEL (V.O)

Ha Ha. Naughty kid

INT. LIVING ROOM – DAY

Someone comes and puts the video off. We see its Mark.

INT. NEIGHBOUR’S HOUSE – DAY

We are in next door neighbour – ROSY’s house. Someone is watching through BINOCULAR.

THROUGH BINOCULAR:

INT. MARK’S LIVING ROOM – DAY

We see Mark through a binocular. He puts some books in his bag. He then goes to another room and out of sight.

INT. NEIGHBOUR’S HOUSE – DAY

Rosy takes off the binocular.

ROSY

It’s him.

Beside Rosy is Peter. Joel is standing behind them.

INT. LIVING ROOM – DAY

PETER

But how is that possible?

ROSY

Only Richard can tell us

something. Joel you go to Portland

and tell Richard.

Joel nods in yes. Rosy again looks with binocular.

THROUGH BINOCULAR:

EXT. HOUSE – DAY

Mark comes out, walks through the lawn and goes out of sight.

EXT. PLATFORM – DAY

Joel walks through the platform. A train is about to leave. Joel goes inside and sits beside a girl. He looks lustfully at the girl.

INT. MARK’S HOUSE - BEDROOM 1 – DAY

Someone is searching the cupboard. We see it’s Rosy. Peter comes from another room.

PETER

Found something.

ROSY

No.

Rosy goes out of the room.

INT. MARK’S HOUSE - BEDROOM 2 – DAY

Rosy comes in the bedroom. She looks at the laptop lying on the table. There is a photo frame of Mark. Rosy fiddles with some files in the computer and opens one. We can’t see what’s playing. As the video plays we see her eyes widens with some shock.

ROSY

(Low voice)

Peter ..Peter

Peter comes in. He comes to Rosy and starts looking at the video. He also seems shocked.

PETER

Oh my god!!

EXT. PLATFORM - DAY

The train is stopped. Joel gets down and goes out of the station.

EXT. ROAD - DAY

Joel stands near the stairs. He waves to a taxi. The taxi stops. Joel goes to the taxi, opens the back door and gets inside. The taxi runs off.

EXT. ROAD - DAY

Joel is walking on the road. He comes towards us. Soon he reaches the door steps of a house. He pushes the call bell button. A MIDDLE AGED MAN comes out.

JOEL

Hello. I am Joel. Is Richard

in?
