Treatment - Raghu and Raju -2

One day Raghu and Raju were coming back home after marketing .

Raghu- Yar, we need to trap big fishes.

Raju – Ya. We are earning in thousands only. Our dreams were of lakhs at least.

Raghu- Right. So far we don’t even have our own house.

Just then a car stops near them. A man asks for some address. They tell him to go straight and then turn left. The man offers them lift since they were going in same direction. They accept and sit in the car. The man tells them that he lives in USA and he has come to take his old father with him who lives alone.

And when will you come back?- asks Raghu.

In two months- says the man.

After one week Raju and Raghu see the old man leaving with his son.

Raghu - Now what will happen to the house?

Raju - It has to be sold.

Raghu brings a key- maker with him.

Raghu - I lost my key in the party. Please make a duplicate.

Key maker - No problem sir. I am in this business for 30 years. I make the best keys.

Soon the key-maker makes a duplicate key and gives to Raghu. Both Raghu and Raju open the door and go inside the house.

Raju puts a sign-board outside – FOR SALE.

After this they get some advertisement posters printed and paste here and there. On the poster was written - Big bungalow for sale. At very very low prices. Please contact at this number soon - 7878787878

Soon they get a call from a Gujrati family. Raju fixes a meeting. A Gujrati man with his wife and a fat boy comes to see the house. Raju receives them.

Raju - Very good bungalow. Very less cost. You will be amazed. Come inside.

Gujrati man -Why the owner is selling it?

Raju - Well he is old man and about to die. He wants to sell the house and go on char-dham yatra.

Gujrati man - Oh. Ok Ok.

Raju -Come inside.

All of them go inside. Raghu was in old man’s get up and lying in bed. He was sick and coughing. There were catheters and glucose bottles near his bed.

Raju - Mr Biswas.

Raghu - Yes dealer.

Raju -They have come to see your house.

Raghu - They come , they see and they go. No one comes back.

Raju - No Mr. biswas. They won’t go this time. They are in real need.

Raghu coughs violently. Raju gives him water.

Raju - He is Mr Murgiwala and his wife and cute son. I will show them the house. Come.

Raju then shows the family the house.

Raju -You like it?

Gujrati man - Ya. So how much is the price?

Raju -25 lakh.

Gujrati man - Done.

Gujrati man’s wife – Hey, are you mad? That’s too much.

Gujrati man takes wife to a corner.

Gujrati man - Stupid woman. The bungalow is of 1 crore at least.

He comes back and talks to Raju.

Gujrati man - When can we get the house?

Raghu - Give me the money and I will leave the house - right now

Gujrati man - Done.

Raju - Have you brought the cash also?

Gujrati man - Yes .

Gujrati man makes a call. Two servants bring two gunny bags and keep in front of them.

Gujrati man - Count.

Raghu jumps out from the bed. Both Raghu and Raju start counting the notes.

After few hours the counting gets over.

Raju – Exactly 25 lakh.

Raghu - You are very honest Mr Murgiwala. May your murgis never stop giving eggs.

Raghu gives the Gujrati man keys of the house. Both Raghu and Raju takes the gunny bags to the car and drives off. They were exploding with excitement and happiness.

Both of them then go on shopping spree. They take expensive dinners at big restaurants, purchase branded clothes and go to disco partys. They were enjoying the life to its full.

One day both Raghu and Raju were at home. They started chatting.

Raghu – Yar, we are running out of the cash. After purchasing this flat no money is left.

Raju – And we don’t have any luxury car yet.

Raghu – Let’s think.

Raju then looks at the paper. He reads the headline – CAT result comes tomorrow!

Raju – I got an idea.

Raghu – What?

Raju – Tomorrow is CAT result and many students will not get through.

Raghu – So?

Raju – Let’s give admission to such students in our own college.

Ragu – Which college?

Raju – Well……..R and R college of management.

Raghu – Raghav and Rajan college of management?

Raju – No. Ram and Ramiyaa college of management.

Raju winks at Raghu who smiles.

Raghu – What an idea sir ji.

They give Hi-five to each other.

Next day a boy was looking at the result of CAT. His CAT score was less. His father was scolding him.

Raju goes to them. He was in get- up of a tamil doctor –moustaches and proper tilak.

Raju - Don’t worry uncle. R and R college of management is there. My brother has also studied there. He is now intern in USA with Berkley’s bank. Huge package. 50 lakhs per annum. Hundred percent placement. Guaranteed.

Father - Where is it?

Raju gives them a poster which was having admission ads and address.

Next Raju approaches four college students. He was without get-up now. He talks to them.

Raju - Wana make some money?

Student 1 –How?

Raju – Acting.

Student 2 - Which movie?

Raju -Not movie. Come I will tell.

Raju tells them that they have to act as students of R and R college. They have to discuss about the college very highly in front of student coming for admission. The students agree.

Next day the same student who Raju had met earlier comes for admission with his father. They are asked to sit in lobby and wait. The other four students were also sitting there.

As the boy and his father sit, the four students start speaking their dialogues which Raju had told.

Student 1 - So where are you placed buddy?

Student 2 – HCL. They have offered me a package of 25 lakh. What about you Sidhartth?

Student 3 - Well I am joining Infosys – 25 lakh.

Student 4 – Really yar. R and R is amazing. What a superb infrastructure. And amazing faculty and how big placements. Really I will always miss R and R. Even IIM students don’t get such placements.

The father and son get very well convinced. They meet Raghu and Raju who were in get ups of middle aged Director and Dean of the college. They give admission to the student and charge 2 lakhs as fees.

In a new twist Mr. Murgiwala approaches sub-inspector Brinda. She is young and beautiful.

Mr. Murgiwala tells how he was conned by two persons. They sold him a house. But after two months real owners of house came. They called police and threw his family out.

After that Father and son who took admission in R and R come to Brinda. They also tell her how they were conned by two men. Brinda promise them that she will soon try to solve the case and arrest the culprits.
