Working title: the doctor

Synopsis
(Logline: Doctor is
like god. Think again!!)
Nisha comes to live with her sister- Rakshita and jija -Somesh. She has got a job in a magzine
publication recently in the city and therefore has moved here.
Nisha settles in the family and joins her new job. She makes
friend with Jivisha at her office. Jivisha introduces her to Naitik the computer operator who is a reserved
guy and does not interact much with people albeit in professional ways.
Soon a mysterious person begins to appear in Nisha’s room at
night while she sleeps. Nisha doesn’t notice it. The person appears simply to
stand in dark and look at sleeping Nisha.
One day Rakshita gets a sprain in her foot. Somesh calls his
friend Daksh who is doctor. Daksh comes and treats Rakshita. As soon as Daksh
sees Nisha he gets obsessed with her. He begins thinking of her all the time.
Once Daksh mixes Salmonella
bacteria in a chocolate and places it in
Nisha’s drawer. Nisha eats the chocolate
and falls sick. She is taken to Daksh’s home cum clinic. Daksh begins his
treatment and strikes a friendship with Nisha. While at Daksh’s house
Nisha hears some mysterious noises occasionally but Daksh checks and tells her
that they were made by mice.
In the office there are little and professional interactions with Nisha and Naitik. Once
Jivisha invites Nisha to a nearby lake for boating. While in boat Nisha accidentally
falls in water. Naitik is also nearby who sees it and saves Nisha who doesn’t
know swimming. After relaxing at Naitik’s house Nisha leaves in her car. She
finds Naitik’s diary in her car and reads it. She comes to know why Naitik is
so reserved and doesn’t interact much with people. She learns that in the past Naitik
had tried to steal money from the office where he uses to work previously for
the treatment of his mother. But he was arrested and sent to jail. His mother died
subsequently. Now he feels responsible
for his mother’s death and is guilt ridden.
Next time Nisha meets naitik. She takks to him and makes him realise
that he was not responsible for his mother’s death. In fact he tried his best
to save her. And it all was destiny. No one can change it. With this Naitik
feels connected to Nisha. He finds her understanding and caring. He expresses his
love to her which she accepts happily.
Next night Nisha finds the mysterious man. It was Somesh her
jija ji who was sitting on her bed near her. But Somesh runs away when Nisha
opens her eyes. Nisha becomes very disturb with this. She wants to talk to Naitik
but he was gone to his home-town for his mother’s barsi. She then talks to Daksh
about it.
Daksh says that perhaps Somesh will realise this and will
stop coming to her room from now on. But it proves to be wrong. Next night
Somesh touches Nisha who wakes up. She says she will tell to Rakshita.
Somesh is guilt ridden. He drives to Daksh at once and asks
for help. Daksh scolds him for stalking and touching Nisha who belongs to him
only. Daksh’s revelation shocks Somesh but for short time. Suddenly Daksh gives
Somesh an injection and he faints. Daksh then strangles Somesh and hangs him on
a tree in front of Someh’s house to make it appear like a suicide.
Nisha talks to Naitik about all this. He advices her that now
Somesh is dead and she need not tell anything to Rakshita since it will make
her more sad.
One day Nisha meets Daksh who proposes her. But she says she
has got a boyfriend now. It makes Daksh very angry and all the more crazy. He goes
and loosens the nuts of Nisha’s car brakes. Nisha meets a minor accident but is
not injured. Daksh was stalking her. He brings her to his home. She says she is
alright but Daksh gives her an injection and she faints. Daksh then breaks Nisha’s
leg with a hammer. When she wakes up she finds her leg broken. She was shocked.
She said she was allright. But Daksh says that she has not realised it but her
leg was broken in the accident itself.
When Nisha asks to inform Rakshita Daksh says he has informed
her but she has gone out of town. At the same time he calls Rakshita and says Nisha
has gone for a trip with her friends for one week.
Daksh starts Nisha’s treatment which is not reliable. One day
he says he is going to town to bring plaster of paris for her. In his absence Nisha
crawls out of bed. She hears the mysterious noises again and explores the
house. She finds a basement. She goes there and find a badly tortured and
mutilated girl inside a metallic cage. The noises were of cage shaken by the
girl. The girl tells her to run away or Daksh will kill her also. The girl then
dies. Nisha is deeply terrified. She hears Daksh’s car outside. She crawls back
to her bed.
Meanwhile Jivisha goes to Rakshita’s house to know where was
Nisha. But Rakshita informs her that she was gone to a trip. Jivisha finds it
strange. With who will Nisha go to trip.
She is her only friend here.
While driving back home Jivisha finds the damaged car of Nisha
hidden in the bushes. She looks at Daksh’s house which was nearby. She goes
there. Daksh sees her from the window. Jivisha goes inside the house. She
reaches a storage. She opens an almirah and a dead body of a girl falls down. She
is horrified. Just then Daksh hits her with an axe. Jivisha dies there. Daksh goes
back. However some life was left in Jivisha. She manages to phone to Naitik and
utter some words about daksh and his address. She then dies.
Daksh goes to Nisha and tells her that he wants to marry her.
He brings her mother’s wedding clothes to her. And dresses her up. He starts a
fire as havn in a tray in the room. He makes Nisha sit on wheel chair and
starts taking seven feras. He chants marriage mantras himself. After it he puts
Nisha on the floor and tries to rape her. Just then Naitik reaches. He starts
beating Daksh black and blue.
Daksh falls near bed. Naitik is about to kill him but Daksh
pleads with him to save some time. Daksh finds an injection near bed and stabs
Naitik in the leg. Naitik faints and falls. Daksh then takes the knife and is
about to stab him. Just then a scalpel (a type of knife) penetrates through Daksh’s
throat. Nisha has stabbed him with scalpel. Daksh dies and falls on the floor.
Nisha finds her phone and calls the police. Naitik wakes up
after some time. He hugs Nisha and she reciprocates. Police arrives. Naitik and
Nisha are taken to hospital for treatment.
