CONCEPT

Two youths named Raghav and Ranjan ( Raghu and Raju) could not find any jobs after graduation. Hence they end up becoming con – artists. They con rich and misers to extort money from them. However at heart they are good and always help those who need helps like poor, children etc.

They stay at a miser landlord Rangeela bhai at Mumbai. He has many apartments which he gives to tenants which keep changing from time to time. The interaction of Raghu and Raju with these tenants is variable. They help some, con some and yet flirt and romance some others. Raghu and Raju interact with random people outside this premise also.

The episodes of this  TV series are stand alone i.e each episode has different story (like sarabhai vs sarabhai or friends).

The other unique thing of this series which makes them stand out from other serials is that the two con-artist don different roles. They always come in different getups like girl, aunty, baba ji, prince, Hollywood singer etc to name a few. Thought the serial is fully for entertainment it awares people also about day to day modus operandii of many con-artists and scamsters and can help them from getting conned.

PREMISES

Story occurs at a landlord who rents apartments to tenants. Landlord  lives with his daughter Minchi. Raghu and Raju lives there permanently. Tenants come and go from time to time.

SUMMARY OF TEN EPISODES:

1 VISITORS FROM HOGWART: Raghu and Raju come to stay at rented apartment of Rangeela Bhai. They get to meet different tenants staying there – Bhinde ji, wife and son; Divorced Aastha and her son; Ruby a struggling actress, Kaviraaj an annoying classical singer. In this episode Raghu and Raju helps Bhinde’s son who is pressurized by his parents to study always and is not allowed to play outside. Raghu and Raju come as Dumbledore and Hagrid and tell Bhinde they have to take his son to magic world. Bhinde is not keen in sending his son but they threaten him with dire consequences. Bhinde gets fearful and agrees. Raghu and Raju offers him a solution. They charge him money and after many funny tactics bring him a rejection certificate from magic world. This is how they solve his problem.

2 CHILD’S CUSTODY : Aastha is troubled by her husband Anil who wants the custody of his son Arpit. He himself has a loose character but accuses Aastha of that. He tries to take Arpit away forcefully but Raghu and Raju intervenes and prevents it. He threatens to come with court order and police. Raghu and Raju think of a plan. Raju becomes a girl and they go to Anil. Raju laces his drink with sedative and when he faints they take photos of his in compromising condition. When Anil comes to Aastha with inspector,  Raghu shows inspector the phototgraph. Inspector scolds Anil and asks to leave Aastha and her son alone.

3 FAKE DIRECTOR : Raghu and Raju likes Ruby who lives next door and is a struggling actress. One day she tells them that she gets a boyfriend who is a director. He had done many films but not a single is released. Raghu and Raju finds it strange. They spy on the director.They find that he is making fake promises to all girls and in fact a Casanova. They tell to Ruby but she refuses to believe them. Raghu and Raju then make a plan. Raju becomes a girl and they go to director and ask for a role. Director hints for compromise and Raju agrees. As they go to bedroom Raghu started filming. But then director pulled the wig of Raju. They had to flee. Next day Ruby goes to director. He gives her drink laced with sedatives. When Ruby faints he tries to take advantage. Just then Raghu and Raju come and beat the shit out of the director.

4 BUNGALOW ON SALE: Raghu and Raju meet a man who is taking his father to USA. After father and son leave the big bungalow is lying vacant. Raghu becomes a sick and dying owner of the house and Raju as property dealer. They give ads about sale of the bungalow. One client Mr. Murgiwala comes. They sell the bungalow of worth 5 crore for just 25 lakhs. Later another man Mr Donga comes and claims the house to be his. It is revealed that Raghu and Raju had sold the house to Mr Donga also.

5 KALAKAAR: Raghu and Raju are sleeping but wake up in the middle of night. Kaviraaj is doing his riyaaz. They go to him and ask him to stop. Instead he gives them ear-muffs. They want to get rid of him. Next day Raju bring Raghu who is in make-up of a producer. Raghu (producer) tells Kaviraaj that he has heard his riyaaz and is very much impressed with his voice. He wants to take him as musician to his next film. Kaviraaj is very happy. Raghu then tell his condition that he should make the music in a jungle. Kaviraaj agrees and then leaves for his village. Kaviraaj returns after a week. But Raghu and Raju brainwash Rangeela that Kaviraaj had got STD and was gone for treatment but it is not cured. He can spread the disease to all. Rangeela then asks him 15 lakhs rent per month. Kaaviraaj abuses him and leaves.

6 MBA COLLEGE: Raghu and Raju are in dire need of money. They plan a scam. They open a fake college for MBA. They then hired four students who tell lies about their very high placements by the college in companies like Bentley, HCL etc. A father with his son are lured by this and take admission. Later when they go to address of college they find only abandoned land.

7 BOUNTY HUNTER: Rangeela comes to Raghu and Raju and tells that Minchi has run away with Vicky. They say they know a bounty hunter who can bring her back. Raghu then becomes the bounty hunter and takes money. Raghu and Raju go to Minchi and find that there was no Vicky. But they give her money and ask her to play the game with them. Minchi agrees. Raju and Raghu ( bounty hunter ) go back to Rangeela and returns him Minchi. They tell him that they have killed Vicky and needs money to hide the dead body. They extort more money from Rangeela and leave.

8 THE VAMPIRE BOYFRIEND : A new tenant Nelly comes to live at Rangeela’s apartments. Raghu and Raju devlop crush towards her. But when they meet her they find she already has a boyfriend named Sahil. They made a plan to get rid of the boyfriend. They tell Nelly that they suspect Sahil is a Vampire. But she asks for proof. Raghu and Raju then become director and AD from Dharma production and visits Sahil. They offer him lead role of vampire. But give a condition that he will act like vampire everywhere even with his girlfriend. Sahil then tells Nelly that he doesn’t go in sunshine and never sleeps. Nelly suspects him but still needs proof. Raghu and Raju then ask Sahil to act a scene in which he will drink blood from a ladies throat. While sahil is doing the scene Raghu calls Nelly. Nelly sees Sahil drinking blood of the lady . She screams in horror and run away. Raghu and Raju become very happy.

9 BABAGIRI : Raghu and Raju are running short on money. So they hatch a new plan. They tried to start a business of BABAGIRI. They hire three fake people and ask them to do acting. The three fakesters tell lies to a crowd that Baba Sigriwale ( who is Raghu) has given totkas which has solved their different problems. People are befooled by this and  start coming to Baba ji and they start extorting money from them in their own style.

10 SECRET OF  ZOMBIE: Rangeela ji comes to Raghu and Raju and asks them to spy on Minchi and find her  secret lover. Raghu and Raju tells it to Minchi and hatches a plan to extort money from Rangeela. They tell Rangeela that they have found the lover of Minchi and it is a zombie. They take him to an abandoned house and shows the zombie – which is in fact Raju in the make-up of zombie. The zombie tells Minchi that he plans to kill her father. She resists so he wants to kill her also. She flees. Raghu and Raju then informs Rangeela that a person called  Yaatoba – a Chinese zombie killer can solve his problem. They bring Yayatoba who is Raghu actually. They then take money from Rangeela ji and stages the murder of zombie in funny way.
