Fade in…

Int. Bedroom – Night

We see a young woman – Surbhi - in her early 30’s having a troubled sleep. She is supposedly having some nightmare. Her body is writhing. And her face is contorted with sadness and gloom.

Camera focuses on her closed eyes and we are inside in  her dream.

Ext. Deserted road – Night

We see a man walking on the deserted road. The man is Promod, owner of an investment company recently gone bankrupted.

Ext. Deserted road – Night, continued

Now we see Surbhi from back. The camera shows us the knife she is holding.

She is chasing the man walking in front of her.

Ext. Deserted road – Night, continued

The man reaches a black Honda city. He opens the door but just then looks at Surbhi who has reached near to him. He is surprised and stops getting inside the car.

The man

Hey. Surbhi! What are you

doing at this time here?

Surbhi

I have come to punish you for

your sins you bastard.

Surbhi raises her hand holding a knife. The knife shines in the moonlight. Surbhi then brings the knife with force and stabs Promod in his heart.

We hear a loud scream of Promod.

Int. Bedroom – Night

Surbhi wakes up from her night mare. She is frightened and startled. She is panting. Drops of sweat are glistening on her forehead.

Surbhi looks on her side. Her husband Puneet is sleeping at ease. She gets up and goes out of the room.

Int. Kitchen - Night

Surbhi opens the fridge and takes out water bottle. Surbhi pours water in the glass and drinks. Surbhi goes to the gallery.

Int. Gallery/Kids room – Night

Surbhi is at the doorstep of kid’s room. Inside we see her two kids – a girl of 14 – Shreya, and a boy of 10 – Anuj, enjoying a calm sleep. Surbhi goes back to her room.

Int. Bedroom – Night

Surbhi comes in the room and goes back to sleep.

Int. Dining room – Morning.

Puneet is on the dining table. He is having breakfast of bread butter and boiled eggs. Surbhi comes from kitchen with toast and a jug of orange juice.

Surbhi sits on the chair beside Puneet. She holds her head with one hand.

Puneet

What happened? Did you sleep alright.

Puneet took a swig of orange juice.

Surbhi

Ya. I am O.K.

Puneet

Why are you looking distressed ?

Surbhi

Nothing. Headache.

Puneet

So take a disprin.

Surbhi

Ya I will. You need anything.

Puneet

No. No. Kids are slept yet?

Surbhi

Ya. I will get them ready. It’s

getting time.

Puneet finishes breakfast and gets up.

Puneet and Surbhi walks toward living room.

Int. Living room – Morning.

Puneet and Surbhi are walking out of the living room.

Puneet

Ok. I leave now. Bye.

Puneet opens the door and goes out.

Surbhi

Bye.

Surbhi closes the door and comes in living room.

Int. Kid’s room – Morning.

We see Shreya and Anuj still sleeping in their beds. Surbhi enters the room.

Surbhi goes to Shreya and shakes her.

Surbhi

Shreya get up. It’s getting

late for school beta.

Shreya gets up yawning and goes out of the room.

Surbhi goes to Anuj and shakes him too.

Surbhi

Get up beta.

Anuj just turns on his side.

Anuj(in sleep)

Let me sleep mummy.

Surbhi

Hey. It’s getting late baby.

Come on.. come on. Get up.

Surbhi turns Anuj on his back. Anuj puts his arm around Surbhi. Surbhi picks Anuj up and goes out of the room.

Int.Office – Day

This is the office of a Metroweek magazine. Puneet works here as executive editor. Just then a man – the chief editor enters. The man goes towards his office. All the employees wish him good morning and he replies the same.

Int. Office, Cabin of Puneet - Day

We see Puneet in the cabin, busy marking something on a file. The cabin is small but beautiful. Fully furnished with a wall size glass window on one side with curtains.

Just then Puneet’s friend and colleague Aakash enters the cabin.

Aakash

Hey. What’s up?

Puneet

Nothing much.

Puneet keeps reading and marking on the file.

Aakash sits on the table.

Aakash

I was thinking to go and meet

Pramod.

Puneet

What’s the use. We are already

ruined.

Aakash

Yaar. We haven’t met the asshole

second time. At least we could

check with him and know what’s the

current situation.

Puneet

We know what happens in such situations.

Puneet kind of throw the file on his desk and sits straight to talk to Aakash.

Aaksah gets up and goes to window. He then comes back near Puneet’s desk.

Aakash

But what’s the harm in going

and meeting him. Maybe we

could get at least …at least

…half of our money back.

Puneet

Half……

Aakash

Maybe one third. After all 20

lakhs is not a small amount.

We must ask the bastard if something has been done so faror what.

Puneet

I don’t think anything will happen

now.

Aakash

Puneet

Ok. Then. After office. Be ready.

Puneet

Ok.

Aakash goes out of the cabin. Puneet goes to window and looks outside.

Int. Car - Day

Aakash is Dr.iving the car. Beside him Puneet is sitting.

Aakash

How’s Surbhi.

Puneet

She is also gretly affected due

to all this.

Aakash

Same is with Gaytri.She has not

smiled since it has happened.

Puneet

Hmmm..

The car is driving through snake like road. Buildings and trees are left behind.

Ext. Pramod house - Day

Aakash rings the doorbell. The door is opened by Pramod’s wife – Sunanda. She is appearing in distress.

Sunanda

Yes.

Aakash

Is Pramod home.

Sunanda

Ya. You are?

Aakash

We are his friends.

Sunanda steps aside. Aakash and Puneet goes inside. Sunanda shuts the door.

Int. Living room – Day

Sunanda

He is in bedroom.

Sunanda leads them to bedroom and opens the bedroom’s door.

Int. Pramod bedroom’s door – Day

We see a hospital like setting.

Aakash and Puneet goes inside the bedroom. They are bit surprised.

Int. Pramod bedroom – Day

Pramod who is appearing sick is lying on bed. On one side there is glucose bottle hanging on a tripod along with a catheter. There is bandage on his wrist. A nurse is filling an injection.

Pramod

Oh.. Aakash and Puneet. Come come.

Please sit. Just a minute.

Nurse gives the injection on Pramod;s left arm.

Puneet and Aakash sits on nearby chairs. Nurse then leaves.

Puneet

What happened?

Pramod

Nothing much.

Sunanda

He got heart attack last week.

Pramod

It’s nothing. It’s only a minor.

Sunanda please bring some tea.

Aakash

That’s not required.

Sunanda leaves the room.

Pramod

I am sorry friends.I know you have

come to know about the money. Really

I tried my best but… coudn’t

do anything and you are looking at

my condition, you can imagine how

much stress I was under.

Pramod Dr.inks water from nearby glass.

Pramod

Yar it never happened for past five

years. I showed you every record.

you worself met people who have got

their money doubled. but this time..

god only knows what went wrong.the

entire company was to go bankrupt.

Sunanda enters with tea.

Sunanda

Don’t talk so much. Doctor has asked

you to take rest.

Sunanda keeps the tray on table and give tea cups to Aakash and Puneet.

Int. Car - Day

Aakash is driving the car.

Aakash

Seen. Another Dr.ama of the bastard.

Puneet

Really.

Aakash

He must be pretending it. I don’t

think he has got any heart attack.

Puneet

God knows.

Aakash

What  god knows. He is like

this only stupid asshole.This is

his one big Dr.ama only. Just

to avoid investors who must be

banging his head.

Puneet

Ya. May be.What about his other

partner.

Aakash

That Ramesh. Sala he is missing.

god knows where he have fled to.

I just want to kill both

of these bastards.Just murder them.

Ext. Puneet’s house - Evening

Aakash stops the car. Puneet gets down.

Puneet

Come inside. Have a cup of tea.

Aakash

It’s ok yaar. Next time. Gaytri

must be waiting.

Puneet

Chal ok. take care.

Aakash

ok.

Aakash drives off.

Puneet starts walking toward the house.

Int./Ext. Living room – Evening

Doorbell rings. Surbhi comes and opens the door. Puneet comes inside.

Surbhi takes his briefcase.

Puneet

How was the day.

Puneet touchs Surbhi on the cheek.

Surbhi

It was good. You go and change.

I will bring tea.

Surbhi goes to kitchen.

Int. Living room - Day

Puneet is now in changed clothes – t shirt and adidas pyjamas.He is sitting on sofa and checking some TV chaneels. Just then Surbhi comes with tea tray.

Puneet switches off the TV.

Surbhi sits on the mat and makes tea. She gives one cup to Puneet and takes one for herself.

Puneet

We went to promod’s place today.

Surbhi(with surprise)

What he said?

Puneet

Had got a heart attack.

Surbhi

Really!!!

Puneet

May be… or may be he is pretending.

Surbhi

He must be pretending then. He

is such a con. But god will

definitely punish him for his doing.

Puneet

Well you don’t be stressed now. where

are the kids?

Surbhi

Playing out.

Int. Dining room – Night

Surbhi is picking up the empty plates and bowls of dinner  they just had.

Puneet is sitting on sofa with Anuj in his lap. Shreya is also sitting nearby.

Puneet is telling them some story.

Anuj

Then what happened.The devil ate

the boy?

Puneet

No. The boy was having telekinetic

powers.

Shreya

What is telekinetic powers daddy?

Puneet

The power with which one can lift

anything with his or her eyes.

Anuj

Oh. Really. Wao. Then?

Puneet

The boy lifted the knife lying on the

table and stabbed the devil. The devil

was dead.

Anuj(happily)

Yeeyyy.

Anuj and Shreya clapped.

Just then Surbhi comes there.

Surbhi

Ok. Kids time to go to bed.

Anuj

Good Night daddy.

Anuj kissed Puneet on cheek.

Puneet

Good Night baby.

Anuj goes to Surbhi.

Shreya

Good Night daddy.

Shreya also kisseS Puneet.

Puneet

Good Night darling.

Shreya also goes to Surbhi. Surbhi then takes both of them to their bedroom.

Int. Puneet’s bedroom - Night

We see the clock. It’s 1:00 am in the morning. Puneet is sleeping on his bed. But Surbhi is not there.

Puneet turns to one side. He then gets up and sits on the bed. He takes he bottle from nearby stool and drinks water.

Puneet looks at the bed where Surbhi should have been there. But it is empty.

Puneet

Surbhi……

Puneet (loudly)

Surbhi. Are you in bathroom?

Puneet lies down again in bed. He gets up again after 20 mins and looks into his watch.

Puneet gets up from bed and goes towards gallery.

Puneet

Surbhi…Surbhi..

Int. Gallery/Bathroom - Night

Puneet reaches bathroom and opens the door.

The bathroom is all empty. Puneet is looking worried now.

He turns towards kid’s room.

Puneet

Surbhi.. Surbhi.. where are you?

Int. Gallery/Kid’s room – Night

Puneet opens the door of kid’s room and comes inside. Both kids are sound asleep.

Puneet looks all over the room but Surbhi is not there.

Puneet goes out of the room.

Int. Gallery/Living room - Night

Puneet is walking hurriedly through gallery towards living room.

Puneet

Surbhi.. Surbhi. Where are you yar?

Int. Living room – Night

Puneet searches all over the living room also. He then goes towards guest room.

Int. Guest room - Night

Puneet comes in guest room.

Puneet

Surbhi.. Surbhi..

Puneet searches all over the guest room. He then goes back to living room. He is looking very distressed.

Int. Living room – Night

Puneet is about to open the door to go outside. Just then.

Shreya

Papa

Puneet turns around with surprise.

Shreya

Papa what happened? Where is mummy?

Puneet

Nothing beta. Mummy is here only.

You go to sleep.

Shreya

Where are you going?

Puneet

I am going out for some time.

Shreya

Can I come too.

Puneet.

Beta it’s cold outside. Go back to

sleep. Go. Good girl.

Shreya turns around and goes to her room.

Puneet opens the door and goes out. He runs here and there all over the lawn.

Puneet

Surbhi..Surbhi..

Puneet looks behind the trees and bushes. He then goes behind the house.

Puneet comes back in front of the house after some time.

Both Anuj and Shreya are now standing at the porch.

Puneet comes to them.

Puneet

What happened kids?

Shreya

We can’t sleep.

Anuj

Daddy, where is mummy?

Puneet

She is here only beta. You both

go back to sleep please. I will

bring her back.

Shreya

Have you got fight?

Puneet

No beta. Please go and take Anuj

inside. I am just coming.

Shreya and Anuj turns around.

Just then Shreya looks up at the roof.

Shreya (shouts)

Daddy…

Puneet looks at Shreya. She is pointing her finger at the roof. Puneet looks at the roof.

We see Surbhi standing at the roof.

Puneet

Ok beta, go inside. Both of you.

I and mummy will come.

Shreya and Anuj goes inside house.

Puneet goes towards the stairs and starts climbing to the roof.

Ext. Roof - Night

Puneet comes to Surbhi. Surbhi’s back is towards Puneet. She is looking straight.

Puneet

It’s too much Surbhi. Too much.

What do you think was that?

I searched the entire house. So many bad thoughts were coming to mind. Coudn’t you answer once.

Puneet noticed Surbhi was lost somewhere. She appears unconscious.

Puneet shakes her.

Puneet

Surbhi..Surbhi.. are you listening

to me?

Just then Surbhi startleS as if she wakes up from sleep. Surbhi looks around and then at Puneet.

Surbhi(with surprise)

Puneet. .. why have you brought me

here at this time?

Puneet looks at Surbhi with surprise.

After one week..

Int. Living room - Day

Puneet is lying on sofa reading a newspaper.

Surbhi is putting flowers in the flower-bases.

Puneet

Can I have a cup of tea?

Surbhi

Ya. Just a minute.

Surbhi finishes putting flower in the base and goes to kitchen.

Int. Kitchen – Day

Surbhi takes a pan and put on the gas. She then add two glasses of water followed by tea. She turns on the gas.

Surbhi then looks out of the window. Just then she starts blinking her eyes in strange way. She held her head and huddles back.

Int. Living room – Day

Puneet looks towards kitchen.

                             Puneet

                   Surbhi. What happened to your

                   tea?

Puneet again starts reading the paper.

Puneet then twictches his nose as if smelling something. He then raises his head and smells the air. He threw the paper on floor and gets up. Puneet runs towards the kitchen.

Int. Kitchen - Day

we see the pan on the gas has burned black. A thick smoke is raising from it.

Puneet picks the pan from the gas stove and turns the gas off. He then puts the pan in sink and turn on the tap.

                             Puneet

                   Surbhi..Surbhi..

He looks here and there in the kitchen for Surbhi. He runs out of the kitchen.

                             Puneet

                   Surbhi.. Surbhi…

In fast action we see Puneet search in all the rooms of entire house and keeps calling Surbhi’s name aloud.

Ext. Road through the forest – Day

we see Surbhi walking on the road. Her face has expressions as if she is walking in her sleep.

Ext. Lawn of house – Day

Puneet is climbing the stairs. He reaches the roof and search for Surbhi. But Surbhi is not on the roof.

Ext. Market – Day

Surbhi is still walking through the market.

We see Shreya and Anuj standing on the side waiting for their bus.

Anuj sees Surbhi and flees towards her.

                        Anuj(shouting)

                   Mummy ..Mummy ..

Shreya also notices her mom. She also runs towards her.

                        Shreya

                   Mummy..

Anuj hugs Surbhi. Shreya also hugs Surbhi.

                        Shreya

                   Mummy. Where are you going?

But Surbhi is not listening to her kids.

Shreya shakes her hand vigoursly.

                       

                        Shreya (shouts)

              Mummy. Are you sleeping?

With a startle Surbhi wakes up.

Surbhi looks at her kids and the the place around.

                        Surbhi(with surprise)

              Are! How I came here. I..I was

              making tea only.

Surbhi’s expressions became worried at once.

Ext.Outside house road – Day

Puneet comes and sits in his car. He is about to start the car. Just then he sees Surbhi, Shreya and Anuj coming towards him.

Puneet gets out of the car.

Surbhi and kids reach near Puneet.

                        Puneet

     What is this Surbhi? you could at

     least tell me once if you were going

     to fetch kids.

                        Surbhi(in a low voice)

              I don’t know Puneet. Something is wrong.

Surbhi runs inside the house.

Puneet helds hand of kids and startS towards the house.

Int. Living room - Day

Surbhi is sitting on sofa sadly. Her head is Dr.ooped on her hand. Puneet is sitting on the mat on floor. Puneet takes the hand of Surbhi.

                        Puneet

              Tell me dear. What’s the problem.

              I think you have taken this matter

              very seriously.

                        Surbhi

              I don’t know Puneet. I am really

              very depressed and living in a

              state of confusion.

                        Puneet

              Look money is nothing for me. It’s

              you and kids and our small family

              which matter to me. Just don’t think

              about the past. Think about me and

              kids. You can’t afford to be lost

              like this. Don’t let the

              situation dominate you. Promise me you

              will be cool and calm and never

              think about the past. Just promise me.

                        Surbhi

              Ya Puneet. I will try.

Puneet keeps his second hand over Surbhi’s.

Int. Office/Puneet’s cabin – Day

Puneet is sitting in his cabin with his face hidden in between his hands. Just then Aakash enters.

Puneet lifts his face up.

                        Aakash

              Hey buddy. What’s going on? Is

              everything all right?

                        Puneet

              Ya. Everything all right?

                        Aakash

              I don’t think so. Why are you sitting

              like this then? Tell me what happened?

              You can’t hide it from your friend.

                       

                        Puneet

              Nothing yar. I am worried about Surbhi.

                        Aakash

              Surbhi. What about her?

                        Puneet.

              Well I have told you earlier. She

              has taken the shock to heart. At times

              she gets lost. And starts thinking so

              much that she loseS even the track of time.

                       

                        Aakash

               Oh. Well.. she is very sensitive.

                        Puneet

            That day she went to roof and forget

            when she has come there. And yesterDay

            she forgets that she was making tea and

            went to bring kids home in between.

                        Aakash

            Well it happens sometimes yar. Just tell

            her not to worry much and just relax.

            Why don’t we plan some get togather. It

            will change her mood too. Well this

            weekend you both and kids come to my home

            for dinner.

                        Puneet

            It’s not required yar.

                        Aakash

            It’s required, Gaytri will be very

            happy. She also needs a change.

            When women talk to each other all

            their tension goes away. And its

            long since we have met. So you guys

            are coming.O.K.

                        Puneet

            Well thank you so much Aakash.

                        Aakash

            Hey, no need to say thanks yaar. Just come

            ok.

                        Puneet

            Alright.

                        Aakash

            That’s like a good boy. Now I will go

            and see boss.

Aakash goes out of the cabin.

Int. Aakash house,dining room – Night

Everyone is having candlelight dinner – Puneet, Surbhi, Anuj, Shreya, Aakash and Gaytri.

Gaytri is serving icecream to all.

                        Puneet

            Very nice dinner it was Gaytri.

                       

                        Gaytri

            Oh. Thanks Puneet. After such a long

            time we are having dinner togather.

            Last time it was at your place.

Gaytri passes the icecream on a plate to Surbhi. Surbhi takes the plate.

                        Surbhi

               Really it must be three months.

                        Gaytri

               Ya. Due to that scam…

                        Aakash

               Well no one will talk about that thing.

Aakash put a spoonful of icecream in his mouth.

                        Gaytri

               Oh, ya right. So Anuj want some more.

Gaytri rubbed Anuj’s hair.

                        Anuj

                   Ya.

                       

                        Surbhi

               Hey not too much.

                        Gaytri

               Only one scoop.

Gaytri puts a spoonful in Anuj’s plate. Everyone smiled.

Int. Living room - Night

Puneet and Aakash are sitting on sofa watching TV.

Shreya and Anuj are busy playing games.

                        Aakash

               So everything is ready to go for print.

                        Puneet

              Ya. Shivani has to give me one

              last article she managed with difficulty.

                        Aakash

              Hmm..

Int. Kitchen – Night

Gaytri and Surbhi are cleaning up the plates.

                        Surbhi

              So you did something about I have

              told you.

                        Gaytri

              Ya. Evry test have been taken.

              Reports will come next week.

                        Surbhi

              Ya. It’s high time you guys become

              three.

Gaytri gives a humble smile.

                        Gaytri

              Well now you go and sit outside. I

              will do these.

Gaytri takes the plate from Surbhi.

                        Surbhi

              It’s ok.

                        Gaytri

              No it’s almost over. Go and watch kids.

                       

                        Surbhi (reluctantly)

              Ok.

Surbhi goes out of the kitchen.

Int. Living room – Night

Puneet and Aakash are still watching sports on TV.

Gaytri comes to room. Puneet straightens up.

                        Puneet

              Hey. Is it done?

                       

                        Gaytri

              Ya. So how was your trip to Kerla?

                        Puneet

              It was good.

                        Gaytri

              I was asking Aakash to go there.

              I have never been there.

                        Aakash

              Yar. I wasn’t having vacations.

              otherwise we all could have been

              gone togather.

                        Gaytri

              Let’s see this time. By the way where

              have you sent Surbhi.

                        Aakash

              What do you meant – sent. She

              was with you.

                        Gaytri

              No prank, ok. She came here 15 mins

              ago.

                        Puneet

              No. She hasn’t come.

                        Gaytri(laughingly)

              You all have made this game. Where is

              she hiding?

Gaytri gets up and starts searching Surbhi.

                        Gaytri

              Surbhi..Surbhi..where are you hiding?

Puneet and Aakash looks worried as they both get up.

Aakash goes towards bedroom.

                        Aakash

              Surbhi..Surbhi..

Puneet also goes to one of the room.

                        Puneet

              Surbhi..Surbhi..

Gaytri comes to Aakash and pushes him.

                        Gaytri

              Stop it. Both of you. Don’t you think

              this game is kiddish for adults like us.

Gaytri laughs.

                        Aakash

              Gaytri. It’s not a joke or game.It

              has happened to Surbhi one –two

              times before also.

                        Gaytri

              Are you telling me the truth?

                        Aakash

              Yes dear.

Gaytri too looks worried.

All are searching for Surbhi. Kids are standing on one corner looking at the adults searching for their mom.

After some time Puneet’s cell phones ring. Aakash and Gaytri comes to Puneet.

Puneet picks the phone.

                       

                        Puneet

              Hello.

After some time he disconnects the phone. His face is tensed.

Aakash and Gaytri are looking at him with anticipation. Puneet looks at them.

                        Puneet

              Surbhi is at home. She is fine.

Int. Cafeteria – Day

Puneet and Aakash are sitting. They are sipping coffee.

                        Aakash

              Did Surbhi said anything.

                        Puneet

              Again same. When she came out

              of the kitchen she went lost. She

              had no idea what happened next.

                        Aakash

              How she reached home?

                        Puneet

              She had no idea. But at home when

              she was normal again she was shocked.

              She called me so that we won’t be

              worried and searching for her.

Aakash keeps quiet for some time then speaks.

                        Aakash

              Don’t mind Puneet but I think you

              should seek advice of some psychologist.

Puneet looked at Aakash in awe.

Aakash put his hand on Puneet’s hand.

                        Puneet (in sad voice)

              You think she has gone mad.

                        Aakash

              What yar! Do people see psychologist

              only if they are mad. I am just saying

              she is under lots of stress. Some

              medical help will make her calm.

                        Puneet

              I am sorry yar. I am also losing

              my temper.  I love her so much

              and can’t bear any such thought.

                        Aakash

              I know Puneet.

                       

                        Puneet

              By the way I will think about

              your suggestion. Let’s go now.

Aakash and Puneet gets up and goes out of the cafeteria.

                                               

Ext. Lawn – Day

Puneet is sitting on arm chair in the lawn and reading news paper.

Surbhi comes out of the house. She comes near to Puneet.

                        Surbhi

              I am ready. Let’s go.

Puneet gets up.

                       

                        Puneet

              Have you taken the list.

                        Surbhi

              Yes.

Puneet and Surbhi walks towards the gate where a car is parked.

                        Puneet

              And what about the kids.

                        Surbhi

              We will take them along while

              returning from the mall.

Puneet and Surbhi gets Into the car and Puneet Dr.ives it off.

Int. The mall,confectionary section – Day

Surbhi is picking things. She picks corn flakes, shampoo, soap and puts in the trolly.

Puneet is helping her.

                        Puneet

              Is it all?

                        Surbhi

              Ya. I think so. ok. Take the

              trolly to counter and do the

              biling. I will just come from  

              washroom.

                        Puneet

              Ok.

Surbhi goes back. Puneet pushes the trolly towards billing counter.

Int. The mall, billing counter - Day

Puneet is at the counter. He takes the bill and pay the money.

Puneet is waiting for the Surbhi.

Just then he happens to look out of the window. He sees Surbhi going out of the mall.

Puneet sees Surbhi sitting in some jeep. Surbhi then dives off the jeep.

Puneet runs towards the exit of the mall.

A helper boy comes near the trolly Puneet was holding.

                        The boy (shouts)

But Puneet keeps running and goes out of the mall.

Ext. The road - Day

Puneet sits in his car and Dr.ives off. He goes after  Surbhi.

Ext. The road – Day, continuing.

We see Surbhi’s jeep crossing an iron bridge. Puneet speeds up. He starts blowing horns too.

The chase continues for three – four minutes.

Ext. A picnic spot – Day

We see Surbhi’s jeep parked on one side of the road. Just then Puneet’s car enters. He stops his car near to the jeep.

Puneet gets down of the car. He looks here and there. Just then he sees Surbhi climbing a small hillock.

Puneet runs towards Surbhi.

                        Puneet (shouts)

              Surbhi. Surbhi. stop. Listen to me.

              Please stop.

Surbhi keeps climbing. Soon she goes out of sight.

Puneet reaches the top of the small hillock.

Ext. A small lake side – Day

Surbhi is now walking near the side of lake.

Puneet reaches near her. Puneet extends his arm and is about to touch surbhi’s shoulder just then Surbhi turns towards Puneet.

              Puneet.

There are tears in Surbhi’s eyes.

Puneet keeps his both hands on Surbhi’s shoulders.

              What. It’s ok Surbhi.

                        Surbhi (with pain)

              I think I have got some disease.

              Some some mental disorder.

Tears are rolling down from Surbhi’s eyes.

Puneet is standing near the window. Just then Aakash comes inside the cabin.

Beta we are going to see a doctor.

Surbhi looks at Anuj sadly.

Aakash is standing outside the gate of his house. Puneet’s car arrives. Puneet stops the car near Aakash.

Surbhi opens the back door. And helpS Anuj come out. Aakash helds his arm too.

At the reception a girl is sitting and working on the computer. Puneet and Surbhi goes towards the receptionist

The receptionist – a young girl, looks up.

We have an appointment with Dr.

Ronit. Can you please check?

Receptionist

Ok Sir. Just a minute.

Receptionist dials a number.

Hello Dr.. A Mr. Puneet and his wife

wishes to see you…(pause).. Ok sir.

Receptionist keeps the receiver down.

Puneet and Surbhi goes towards doctor’s office. Puneet pushes the door open and they both goes inside.

Int. Dr. Ronit’s office – Day

we see Dr. Ronit sitting on his chair acroos the table. He is same age of Puneet. He looks tall and handsome.

over and I starts feeling depressed.
