PROTOCOL -36

A high-security military base
laboratory in YALA is breached by six terrorists who belong to China based
terrorist organization – G6. The terrorists steal a maroon colored leather
brief case from a safe. On the leather case in golden letter was written –
PROTOCOL 36.
After the theft of PROTOCOL 36 a meeting was organized headed by
Colonel Yaku. He suggests that since it
was a highly confidential project so they need to get the PROTOCL - 36 back as
soon as possible. According to him the only person who was fit for the job was
TMI (Thailand Military Intelligence) agent
RX18 . But no one knows where he was at the moment except Colonel Ziam
–Zo.
Story then takes us to Goa. Jao
(who was RX18) was living peacefully with his Indian friend Gaba near a
beachside house. Jao was cooking fish when Gaba comes in anger and asks Jao for
his money which he had taken as loan for his business. Jao says all the fish
were gone rotten because preservative used for them was expired. Gaba says he
doesn’t know anything and gives him one month’s time to return money. While they were arguing someone was watching
them from a distance through a binocular. After Gaba leaves Jao goes to the
toilet. As he opens the door a man comes
out from inside surprising Jao. Man introduces himself as Colonel Ziam –Zo
and addresses Jao as RX18. Jao becomes
angry at this and says that he is not RX18 and Colonel has come to a wrong house. Jao then asks Colonel
to leave. Colonel tries to talk to Jao but Jao makes him leave anyhow.
In the evening Gaba goes to a girl
who he uses to like. He tries to persuade the girl to come with him to a disco club. The girl however denies stating that she
likes Tiaz because he knows great martial art. Gaba is heartbroken to hear
this.
Next morning Jao was relaxing on
the beach and catching fish. Gaba comes to him and tells about his meeting with
the girl. Gaba says if Jao teaches him some martial arts he can forget the loan
money. Jao becomes happy to hear this and he starts teaching martial arts to
Gaba.
As both friends were doing
martial arts moves five goons kidnaps a child. The mother of child starts
screaming for help. Jao and Gaba look at the running goons and run after them.
Jao and Gaba reach a house. They go inside where goons start attacking them. Jao
displays a very high level of martial arts to which Gaba was amazed. Gaba whereas
does funny fighting. Finally all the goons were defeated. Jao opens a door to a
big room and is surprised. In the large room the kidnapped boy was sitting
happily with Colonel Zhiam –Zo eating
grapes. Soon the mother of boy comes and takes the boy away. Jao understands
everything that it was a set-up by Colonel to entice him.
Colonel and Jao then sit and talk.
Colonel says that Jao has proved now that he was RX18 because only RX18 can
defeat 20 goons single handedly. Jao admits that he is RX18 but now he has left
TMI. Colonel then asks why. Jao says because in the last mission his sister
died and he thinks it was his mistake. Colonel then tells Jao that Protocol -36
has been stolen and if it is not retrieved soon many people will die. Will that
make his sister’s soul happy? Colonel
also informs Jao that RX19 will also be in this mission. RX19 is another agent named
Noi. She is ex- girlfriend of Jao but due to misunderstanding in the last
mission she was angry with him and both have broken-up since. Finally Jao
agrees for the task. He asks colonel what is PROTOCOL -36. To which Colonel
replies that even he doesn’t know. He then takes Jao and Gaba to Bangkok in Thailand.
In Bangkok Noi works as cabre
dancer in a dance club but that is only
a cover –up. In fact she is an agent of TMI with code name RX19. Jao and Gaba
go and meet Noi. She seems to be very angry to see Jao and speaks rudely to
him. She tells him that because of professional assignment she is doing this
work with him otherwise she doesn’t even want to see his ugly face. She then
goes to change her dress. Gaba asks Jao why she was so rude to him. Jao tells him
that in last mission they were together where he looses his sister. He
foolishly blamed Noi for reaching late. But now he has realised that it was not
her fault. Noi comes and asks them to follow her. They go to Hotel Bluecity. In
her room Noi opens her laptop. She tells them that another agent RX101 working
from China has sent her a picture of two terrorist involved in stealing
PROTOCOL-36. She shows them the photo. Out of two only one of the terrorist’s face was clear. She then asks them to follow
her. They all go to the club. At the bar we see the terrorist from the
photograph is having drink. Noi takes out electronic gadgets from her bag. She puts
a spy cam in her coat button and gives a small i-pod to Jao. She tells them
that she will try to seduce the terrorist and through him they can reach other
members of his group. She asks them to keep a track on her every movement and
stay close. Noi then goes and enchants the terrorists and gives him a pendent
which he bears around his neck. He offers Noi to come to his room. She leaves
with the terrorist who take her to a house in the outskirts.
Jao and Gaba monitor Noi and
terrorist inside a car and follow them. In the room Noi seduces the terrorist.
Soon another terrorist comes and takes the button off of Noi’s coat and slaps her. He punches his
member also for putting their life in danger. He tries to kill Noi with knife.
Just then Jao and Gaba reaches and saves Noi. Soon a big fight starts. Jao
kills all the members. But one escapes with PROTOCOL -36.
Jao and Gaba express their
frustration at losing the terrorist alongwith protocol-36. But Noi tells them
that he is bearing her pendent which was having a tracking device. She again
looks at her laptop and sees the location of his hiding. Jao and Gaba leaves
for the destination and asks Noi to return to hotel. Noi then calls the
terrorist group leader and informs them that their prey RX18 is coming to them
(proving that Noi was on terrorist’s side).
Jao and Gaba reaches the
destination. Terrorists attack them. After major fight Jao defeats many of
them. Jao then beats the group leader and takes the briefcase named –PROTOCOL
36 from the rack of his bed. He opens the briefcase and is shocked to see
potatoes in it. He is about to kill the group leader. But just then Noi places
a gun on his head and asks him to stay back. Jao and Gaba are shocked to see
Noi. They are captured by other terrorists. Noi then asks the group leader
where her brother was. The group leader says that he was already killed. Noi
becomes mad with anger but he slaps her and she falls on the floor. All three –
Jao, Gaba and Noi are then handcuffed and jailed in a room till further orders.
In the room a tearful Noi tells
them that they have kidnapped her brother and asked her to misguide Jao (proving
she is innocent). She then reveals the terrorist’s plot. After stealing the
PROTOCOL -36 terrorist separated themselves in two groups – Group A and Group
B. Group A was meant to misguide agent RX18 with a fake PROTOCOL - 36. But it
was the Group B which was having the original PROTOCOL -36. And she has no idea
where terrorists of Group B have reached. She is sad because of her brother’s
murder. Jao consoles her. They then plan a plot of getting out of the place.
Jao sends Gaba out through the AC system of building. Gaba then gets into the
building and steals the keys. He opens the room and unties Jao and Noi from
their handcuffs. Jao then fights off all the terrorists and finishes them. Jao
holds one of the last terrorists and asks where Group B was. But the terrorist commits
suicide by swallowing cyanide. They all are disappointed and are about to leave
the building. But just then a cell phone
rings.
They search the pockets of all
the dead terrorists. Finally find the cell phone in one of them. Jao responds
to the call. A terrorist of Group B was calling. He asks whether they have
killed RX18. Jao says yes and asks where they were. The terrorist says near Doi
Ithanan which is near Myanmar border. Jao then asks where Noi’s brother was.
The terrorist replies that boy is still with them and will keep him alive till
they enter Myanmar. The phone then cuts. Jao tells excitedly to Noi that her
brother is still alive. All of them are ready to go to Doi Ithanan. Noi says
she knows a faster way to reach Doi Ithanan. She takes them to the roof of
Hotel Bluecity where a private jet was parked. They get into the jet and flew
away to Doi Ithanan.
Jao, Noi and Gaba land in a
jungle and then sets on foot to the house Group B terrorists were boarding.
After killing some gaurds they enter the building. Soon terrorists get to know
that RX18 has come. They were shocked but start the fighting. Jao kills many of
the terrorists. Meanwhile Noi finds her brother
Kai and gets him released with the help of Jao and Gaba. All the
terrorists were killed. Finally Jao gets hold of original PROTOCOL -36. He
opens the briefcase and there was a file inside. He opens the file and there
were diagrams related to viruses, DNA and genetic engineering. He could not
understand anything and closed the briefcase. He then calls Colonel Ziam -Zo
and tells him that he has retrieved the PROTOCOL -36. Colonel Ziam –Zo gives
them an address and asks them to come to that location immediately. Jao, Gaba,
Noi and Kai get into the private jet and reaches the address given by colonel
Ziam – Zo which was an abandoned factory.
Jao, Gaba, Noi and Kai meets
Colonel Ziam – Zo and gives him the PROTOCOL -36. Colonel takes the briefcase
and then punches Jao. All of a sudden many goons of colonel come there and hold
Jao, Gaba and Noi captive. Kai was gone to toilet already. Jao, Gaba, Noi were
shocked at this behaviour of Colonel Ziam – Zo.
Colonel Ziam – Zo laughs and opens the briefcase. He sees the file and
smiles with happiness. He then orders his goons to bring the original Colonel
Ziam – Zo. The original Colonal Ziam –
Zo is brought who was tied to a chair. Everyone was surprised. The fake Ziam – zo then tells them the reality.
His name was Al Neejo and was the leader of terrorist group Thai
Rebels. So both G6 and Thai
Rebels wanted to steal
PROTOCOL-36. Thai rebels failed
and G6 succeeded. So when TMI sent Colonel Ziam – Zo to bring RX18, Al Neejo kidnapped him in the way and stole
his identity. He then befooled RX18 and used him to stole PROTOCOL -36 from G6.
Al Neejo then tells them the
mystery of PROTOCOL -36. He said that previously he was also a Thai
military scientist . He then shows them a powerpoint presentation of
PROTOCOL - 36. He said that PROTOCL -36
was actually a method to develop a new and deadly biological weapon. So far all
the biological weapon has a counter cure. But Thai Military Biologist Dr Iguano
had developed a new method to create a new biological weapon. His idea was to
takes Flu virus DNA and fuses with Rabies Virus DNA. Because so far there
is no cure for rabies, person infected with this biological agent will always
die. But when Dr Iguano sent this PROTOCOL – 36 to Department of Genetic
Engineering they strongly disapproved it stating that it was such a dangerous
idea. Thailand is a peace loving country and cannot make such nasty things.
However Dr Iguano stole funds from other projects and secretly started working
on the PROTOCOL -36. Somehow the
information was leaked but before Dr
Iguano could be arrested he committed suicide. The PROTOCOL – 36 was then kept
in safe custody and a court case pursued. The court then decided to destroy
PROTOCOL – 36 but before the verdict could be revealed it was stolen by G6 and
then by Al Neejo.
After telling the story of
PROTOCOL -36, Al Neejo gets ready to shoot and kill all of them. Meanwhlile Kai was listening to all this from
behind a wall. He was in a chemical lab. He took a bottle of ammonia and throws
it on the floor of room. Everywhere there was smoke of ammonia. Taking advantage
Jao and others get free and a major
fight starts. Jao kills many goons and frees Colonel Ziam –Zo. At one point Al
Neejo shoots at Jao but Gaba comes in front of Jao. The bullet hits Gaba and he falls on the
floor. Jao cries for Gaba and kills many of the goons in anger. But then Al
Neejo takes hold of Noi and puts gun on her. Everyone freezes. Just then Gaba
regains consciousness. He was alive. Bullet had hit him in the shoulder only. He
throws a bottle at Al Neejo who misses the shot. Jao then beats the hell out of
him and with a final kick sends him falling to his death down the stairs of the
abandoned factory. Everyone leaves the place thereafter.
In the last scene Jao is seen
sitting near the hearth (fireplace) at his house. He is tearing papers from
PROTOCOL -36 and putting them in the fire one by one. Noi comes with a tray of
wine and grapes and sits near him. Finally Jao and Noi share a passionate kiss.
